Hello from Troop #70 in Shreveport, Louisiana, We have 18 girls. We have 11-Brownies: Alexandra, Brittiney, Erin, Evelyn, Jennifer, Katelyn, Kimberly, Laura, Lindsay, shari, and Teresa. We have 5-NEW Juniors: Coleen, Claire, Katie, Sarah, and Randee. We also have 1-Cadet: Carey, and 1-Senior: Robin. Our fearless Leader is Mrs. Brown, and I am the Harried Sidekick (assistant) Mrs. Kimes. We have had an absolutely wonderful year!!! We earned 9 Try-its, and a hand-full of patches. We meet every Thursday from 5:30 - 7:00pm. All our girls are SUPER! :) We have two more events before we take the summer off. First a swim party on June 1 at riverside, and them Hamel's Park on the 5th. We camped at Wawbansee (after) the tornado and even though we didn't have lights the first night we had a great time. We made hats for mom, cards for both parents and T-shirts with everyones hand prints for ourselves. We bridged our girls to juniors (NEW), cooked out and had a pajama jungle breakfast. Most of them slept on the way home:) Our Cadet & Senoir have pen-pals. Our Brownies jus got them. But our Juniors and Leaders are still waiting. We have so much planned for next year and we even want to get into trading Council Patches.
