Greetings from Brownie Troop 3057. We are part of the San Diego-Imperial
Council and we are located in beautiful San Diego, California. Our troop
is beginning our second year of Brownie Girl Scout adventures. Last year,
we had a "blast" at the Brownie Blast at Whispering Oaks Program Center,
which is one of our council's mountain properties. We took nature walks
(we saw loads of animal tracks), did crafts, learned a little karate, and
had the most fun meeting other Brownies from other parts of our council.
Another fun adventure was an ocean trip aboard a whale-watching boat. We
saw dolfin, seals, lots of sea gulls, but NO WHALES!!!! We later found out
that there was a pod of killer whales lurking about--the whales were smart
and decided to play elsewhere that day. We sold lots of cookies--(we ate a
few ourselves), had fun making miniature flower pots for Mother's day and
key chains for Father's day. We earned 5 Try-Its and 5 council
patches--since we started later in the school year--we think we
accomplished a lot and had a great time doing it! We'd like to hear from
YOU! You can send us mail
