Hello from Troop 1837! We are a Junior Troop from Eldersburg, Maryland. We have 11 girls in our troop: Meagan, Sarah, Megan, Christine, Alex, Maria, Lauren, Christina, Samantha, Meghan and Amelia. We are all in 5th grade this year. Our leaders are Miss Debbie, Miss Bridget, and Miss Joanne.

This summer we went camping in Luray, Virginia. We visited the Frontier Cultural Museum, where we made linen, carded wool, fetched water from a well, raked the grass, and fed the farm animals. We also visited Luray Caverns, where we saw the famous "fried eggs" and the largest instrument on earth. During our stay we also hiked to a waterfall on Skyline Drive, watched deer in the Big Meadow, went swimming, went paddle boating, rode down a huge water slide, caught perch and blue gill from a lake, and played putt-putt. It was a great adventure and we can't wait to plan our next trip!

This year we plan to hike on the Appalachian Trail, go on a Ghost Tour, and go camping! We'd like to hear from your troop. What was your favorite camping adve
