Hi! We are Brownie Troop #397 from Tremont, IL.

We are a group of 10 third grade students and meet every other Monday evening at the Tremont United Methodist Church. Our leaders are Susan Lindenfelser, Sara Garman, and Karen Novak.

Our names are:

Amanda K.--Violet--Sharon--Mariah--Abbey

We just finished earning our Art-to-Wear try-it and will soon begin working on our Point, Click, and Go try-it. We are currently involved in our annual cookie sale to earn money for troop activities and camping.

Other activities we are looking forward to include a western dance with our service unit in January and a Father-Daughter dance in Tremont in February.

On February 21, 1998, we plan to go to the Baptist Church in Peoria and participate in Thinking Day activities and in March, we will be roller skating.

In April, we will be preparing to bridge to Junior Girl Scouts and will be camping at Camp Tapawingo in Metamora. A number of us spent time at this camp last summer. And finally, our bridging ceremony will be held in May.

Outdoor cooking, especially Dutch Oven cooking, is a favorite of ours.
