TROOP 242
MITTEN BAY GIRL SCOUT COUNCIL
CASS RIVER TRAILS SERVICE UNIT 607
CARO, MICHIGAN
Hi! We are Troop 242, Cadette Girl Scouts from Caro, Michigan. We are a part of the Cass River Trails Service Unit 607 of the Mitten Bay Girl Scout Council. Caro is located in the "Thumb" of Michigan.
We are looking forward to a lot of fun things this year. We started out with our town's "Pumpkin Festival" parade. Pumpkin Festival is a week-long festival ending with the grand parade on Sunday. For the fourth year in a row the Girl Scouts took first place for their parade entry. There are 150 entries in the parade. Our float theme this year was "Girl Scouts are so bright you have to wear shades". All the girls wore sun glasses.
We are currently planning our troop's Halloween activity. We will be having an over-night party at a Girl Scout cabin. We plan on pizza, games and lots of fun.
We are also looking forward to sharing our scouting activities with fellow scouts on the internet.
We'd love to hear from other Girl Scouts, so please e-mail us.
